OFFICIAL RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY AT AMERICAN COLLEGE OF HISTORY AND LEGAL STUDIES IN SALEM
SALEM, NH-- The American College of History and Legal Studies, a new member of the Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce, welcomed its first class of students in August and recently held an official ribbon cutting ceremony at its Salem campus with Chamber Executive Director Donna Morris.
The ACHLS is a senior college offering the junior and senior year of undergraduate study and it grants bachelor's degrees in history. The new college is affiliated with the Massachusetts School of Law and qualified students may gain early admission to the law school after their junior year. That allows them to complete their senior year of undergraduate education with their first year of law school, saving both time and tuition as they earn their law degree.
The rigorous education which students receive at the ACHLS equally prepares those who choose to enter fields other than the law. The curriculum stresses critical thinking and analysis, which makes students become better writers and more fluent public speakers. Graduates will be prepared to compete with anybody in today's competitive market.
Although the education is high quality, it is very affordable at a time when the cost of higher education is increasing dramatically. Tuition is only $10,000 per year.
The ACHLS is currently accepting applications for the fall semester of 2011 from students who have completed at least two years of college with a minimum of 60 credits.
