AMERICAN COLLEGE OF HISTORY AND LEGAL STUDIES INTENDED TO HELP
GRADUATES INCREASE THEIR INCOME; THE COLLEGE PROVIDES A HIGH
QUALITY YET AFFORDABLE EDUCATION

May 11, 2010

SALEM, NH- The key to increased income and upward mobility has always been better
education. The new American College of History and Legal Studies in Salem, New Hampshire is
intended to help students achieve those objectives in these tough economic times and beyond.
According to the latest data from the United States government, the median yearly income for
full-time workers who have an associate's degree earn the median of $40,769 annually. Those
who hold a bachelor's degree earn $56,118 while those who go on to graduate from law school
earn the median income of $81,535 annually.

The American College of History and Legal Studies, which is a new senior college providing the
junior and senior years of undergraduate study, will grant bachelor's degrees with a major in
history and legal studies. Moreover, the college will provide guaranteed pathways into the
Massachusetts School of Law for qualified students and give them the opportunity to earn their
law degree in only six years instead of the traditional seven years.

The American College of History and Legal Studies, slated to open its doors in Salem in August,
will accept students who have completed at least two years of college and now wish to finish
their bachelor's degree with a major in history and legal studies. The education will be rigorous
and graduates of the college will be prepared to compete with anyone in today's competitive
climate.

The high quality education will also be affordable. While tuition at many private universities is
over $50,000 per year and the costs are escalating, yearly tuition at the American College of
History and Legal Studies is only $10,000 and half-tuition scholarships of $5,000 are available to
qualified students.

The American College of History and Legal Studies will hold classes in the evenings at the
Salem campus to allow students to balance their lives should they choose to work while they
complete their bachelor's degree.
