Early Admission to Law School – Prelaw at ACHLS
Students who earn thirty (30) credits at The American College of History and Legals Studies and achieve a GPA of 2.7 or higher in their junior year can apply to the Massachusetts School of Law at Andover after their junior year, and receiving their B.A. after the first year of law school.
Called the Early Admissions To Law School Program, this course of study allows a student to obtain a joint B.A. and J.D. degrees in six years rather than seven. Students interested in the Early Admissions to Law School Program would apply through an application process specifically set up for them by MSL.
Approximately 17 similar programs are offered throughout the United States.
ACHLS offers students who may not qualify for our Early Admissions To Law School Program, but who are interested in pre-law and whose goal it is to earn a JD degree, additional pathways to law school.
Students who earn sixty (60) credits at ACHLS and achieve a cumulative GPA of 2.3 or higher can enter the Massachusetts School of Law at Andover after their senior year.
