ACHLS/MASSACHUSETTS SCHOOL OF LAW JOINT BA/JD DEGREE PROGRAM
The ACHLS and the Massachusetts School of Law have entered into an agreement which permits their students to work toward BA and JD degrees simultaneously.
Students who earn thirty (30) credits including summer session and achieve a GPA of 2.7 or higher in their junior year at ACHLS have the option of entering the Massachusetts School of Law at Andover after their junior year, and receiving their B.A. after the first year of law school. Called the "3 + 3 Program," this course of study allows a student to obtain both B.A. and J.D. degrees in six years rather than seven.
Students interested in the "3 + 3 Program" would apply through an application process specifically set up for them by MSL. Federal financial aid for the combined senior year/first year as available.
The courses given by the Massachusetts School of Law in a student's first year which can be credited toward both degrees include:
| Civil Procedure and Conflict Resolution | 4 credit hours |
