ACHLS Information Resource Center

ACHLS's library is well-equipped to meet the research, practice and study needs of its students, and faculty. The library is open from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturdays. The library is staffed by professional librarians on weekdays, and at least one librarian is available to assist library users on Saturdays. As the student body expands, the hours of operation will increase, and more library personnel will be hired. At any time when the library is not open (as well as when it is open), students are welcome to use the Massachusetts School of Law library, located at 500 Federal Street, Andover, Massachusetts 978.681.0800.

The initial collection of materials in the ACHLS's library is based on the recommendations of professors, plus titles included in lists of professional recommendations such as Guide to Historical Literature, Resources For College Libraries, and others. The library will also have electronic resources such as JSTOR, Gale History Resource Center and others.
