ACHLS Academic Programs

An ACHLS student in class The American College of History and Legal Studies, located in Salem, New Hampshire, offers a two year, full-time program of study for students to obtain their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in history and legal studies. Students take twelve (12) credit hours during each fifteen (15) week semester and six (6) credit hours each summer.

The American College of History and Legal studies courses are related to American History and use the Harkness discussion method in all courses to enhance the learning and classroom experience. Small classes conducted by dedicated professors help optimize each student's learning experience.
