ACHLS Concentrations
ACHLS affords students the opportunity to concentrate their studies during their senior year in four specific areas, The History of Civil Rights, The History of Urban Growth and Development, The History of American Foreign Relations, and Lessons in American History. Students are not required to choose a concentration. The courses for the four concentrations are listed below, as are elective courses.

Please note that electives, as well as concentrations, will be subject to regular review by a special curriculum committee which will seek to ensure that they provide the best means for accomplishing the educational purposes of ACHLS.
